Though the crochet hook is steampunk.... after all, I am using a metal hook & textiles to create unique art, providing function in the form of smiles &/or fashion.
Disclaimer: Aside from my cat toys, my creations are not intended for pets or destructive children as cabochon eyes/small pieces are hot glued on & can pose as a choking hazard. Safety eyes can still come apart if heavily strained. Please use caution! I am not responsible for any issues caused by negligent handling. Children & pets should always be monitored when playing with such gifts & toys inspected often.
Wearables/Resin items. The watches arrive needing a little TLC whether it's re-securing the faux leather strips to removing broken beads, I add charms & make sure they work before advertising their availability also sending home an extra battery. The bracelets are devoid of a center piece for which I design & cement in with resin. The springs on each side of the eyelet can be gently expanded if the chain is just a little too short for comfort. The wristlet is a stretchy plastic, plastic iridescent beads in the wings, & a bee of my making. Unfortunately I don't have the capability to make medallions however, I make the paper beads to embellish the necklaces. As for the dragon scale pouches, you can close the pouch enough for the string to tie to your wrist. the wooden toggles & tassel prevent the string from pulling out of the side loops. I sometimes use resin powder to paint the mold first before pouring the thoroughly stirred mixture as you can see in the rose tray & bee coasters.

What do I do with what?
Crafting is my jam! I embellish watches, medallions & mini hats. I dabble in resin for candle holders, coasters, flowers, bees, & dragon decor in which to embellish. As a HUGE nerd of dragons in general, I have discovered crochet books with patterns to help make these adorable characters. I also crochet Star Wars characters, bees, mice, guinea pigs, snakes, chameleons, kittens, puppies, dragons & more! With the help of Tabitha Kush & Kati Galusz, I have made my own style mice and hairy "Gabby" Pigs. You can find Kati on Etsy for free crochet patterns & Tabitha sells character kits at DragonCon. Each dragon egg is hand crafted/painted & have crocheted dragons to fit, (using a chameleon pattern & adding my own spin), for the eggs can open & have different sizes! Rebekah (RLynnFromtheAshes) gave permission to me for the use of her scrunchie dragon pattern to make my own style scrunchie & snap bracelet. You can purchase the pattern at- www.etsy.com/listing/1254191401/crochet-dragon-scrunchie-and-bracelet.
I also hand make paper beads from all types of paper & paint them in shimmery or glitter glosses for duribility, lightweight & uniqueness. You can give them a quick rinse to keep clean. My mini hats have alligator clips to attach to any length hair longer than an inch. I embellish watches with charms & medallion necklaces with my paper beads & design steampunk bracelets with resin & nail art.
You can purchase my creations on my business page!
About me....
My grandmother nicknamed us as we were born. My mother is the butterfly, my brother-the frog, & I'm the bumblebee. I didn't tell my friends my nickname until one day, they started calling me "Bee". When I asked why, they replied, "You don't sit still! You're always moving!" Thus I kept my nickname.
My mother taught me to crochet granny squares & flowers at 9 years old, & hooked ever since. Learned amigurumi in 2019 & decided to start my business all just before the pandemic hit. One of the amigurumis I design, the "Gabby" pigs, are named Gabby after my first guinea pig who was longhaired & gabbed all day.
Really loving the steampunk vibe from movies like Hugo, The Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow, & Mortal Engines, I decided on this vibe as my business aesthetic for the sky is the limit on creativity. I'm a Taurus, happily married, no kids only many fur babies, & am always creating something new for my next event. Through the metal hook with fiber textiles is where my creativity flows. My goal is to sell affordable & uniquely handcrafted treasures for anyone who enjoys them. I hope to inspire others to create fun things. Thanks so much for visiting & your support! I appreciate you!
You can follow on Instagram- I'm not on much.
Any allergy concerns?
My crocheted gloves are washer & dryer safe with the exception of metallic yarn {has a shiny accent ribbon entwined, hand wash those}. Fabric items get lightly sprayed with Lysol before each event, during & after. My work is crafted in a household of cats & dogs, smoke free environment, candle friendly, however, completed items are disinfected & stored away from the animals. As for jewelry- the stems, hooks & chains are generic alloy metal often coated, & purchased from JoAnn's Craft store, Walmart, Temu &/or the Wish web-site.
I do my best to always have hand sanitizer at my booths for all to use.
